Off-street parking is now even easier at the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum (Ballenberg Ost car park): With the AutoPay function activated in the PayByPhone app and a stored license plate, the barrier opens automatically – without a ticket.

Together with our partner SCHENK Systeme AG, who installed the system – with a clear focus on comfort and simplicity for guests, and through integration into Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions 's mobility CONNECT platform, we enable a seamless parking experience – simple, digital and user-friendly:

• Barrier opens automatically when entering and exiting
• No ticket, no machine
• Parking duration and payment run automatically in the background

This means: simply drive in, enjoy your stay and leave again in a relaxed manner – without any effort.

In addition, a PayOnExit solution provides even more convenience: payment can be made directly at the exit by card.

Even public transport has been taken into account: buses crossing the parking area can pass the barriers conveniently by remote control thanks to a special solution.

This project is an important step for PayByPhone in the field of off-street parking in Switzerland – and the start of further digital solutions for parking garages and managed parking areas.
