PervCom announces the launch of its new Parking Lot Management System using Wireless Locating Technology
PervCom, has announced the launch of its new Parking Lot Management System (PLMS) solution.
PervCom, an industry leader in providing active RFID based real time locating system (RTLS) and Real time sensing system (RTSS) solutions in India, has announced the launch of its new Parking Lot Management System (PLMS) solution, focusing on zone wise identification of already parked vehicles and to streamline the parking process.
As the cities are
getting more and more congested with ever increasing number of vehicles on road, finding a parking spot for the daily commuters has become a major concern and pain. In many major cities throughout the world, finding a parking spot during the rush hours or in congested public areas (such as shopping malls, downtown areas, amusement parks etc.) has become synonymous to nightmare. Parking lots are generally maintained manually and this leads to an inefficient management of the parking space as well as the whole parking process. PervComs PLMS solution, built on its integrated RTLS & RTSS platform known as the PervTrack system, can answer to the dire need of having more efficient parking system in todays congested environment.
In this PLMS system wireless tags can be issued to the vehicles that enter a parking area on a permanent, monthly or daily basis. Through the wireless networking technology, all individual vehicles with issued tags can be identified from a remote control station. It can restrict access of vehicles at entry and exit points, generate alert for unauthorized parking, locate and track vehicles on a zone wise basis at any time, and get the duration of parking through customized reports.
