Piana and GreenFlux Expand EV Charging Access for French Business Fleets
French mobility payments provider Piana has entered into a partnership with GreenFlux to broaden the EV charging services available to small and medium-sized business fleets.
Through the agreement, Piana customers will gain roaming access to a network of more than 1.2 million public charging points across Europe and Australia. GreenFlux will manage the charging tokens used by Piana’s clients through its managed roaming service.
The collaboration brings together GreenFlux’s charge point management system and Piana’s API-based fleet payment platform. Integration with Piana’s EMV card technology is intended to give fleet operators a more streamlined way to pay for charging while managing other mobility-related expenses through the same system.
Piana currently serves almost 40,000 vehicles and more than 1,000 companies in France. Its platform allows businesses to manage payments for conventional fuel, electric charging and travel expenses from one environment.
The company selected GreenFlux as it prepares to extend its services beyond France and support a growing number of electric fleet vehicles. The technical integration will allow charging transactions and fleet payment information to be processed through Piana’s existing platform.
For GreenFlux, which is part of DKV Mobility Group, the agreement strengthens its position in the French e-mobility market. Its software supports charge point operators and mobility service providers with charging management, roaming, smart charging and revenue optimisation tools.
The partnership is expected to simplify public charging for French SMEs by providing broader network coverage without requiring drivers to manage several charging accounts or payment methods.
