Q-Park Expands Collaboration With CPMS Provider GreenFlux to Ireland and Germany
Q-Park, a leading off-street parking infrastructure owner and operator, and GreenFlux, a premier EV charge point management system (CPMS) provider in Europe, have extended their collaboration to expand Q-Park's EV charging operations.
The expansion of the current agreement builds on the successful collaboration between Q-Park and GreenFlux, which began in 20 24 when Q-Park Netherlands migrated its EV charging infrastructure to the GreenFlux platform. Following strong operational results and a long-term commitment from both organisations, the partnership has now been extended and expanded into additional markets.
Besides extending the existing partnership between Q-Park Netherlands and GreenFlux, Q-Park Ireland and Q-Park German will also migrate their charge points to GreenFlux's charge point management system. Both local Q-Park entities have moved from a CPO-as-a-Service solution to a full Charge Point Operator (CPO) strategy, drawing on GreenFlux's integrated digital services and managed roaming offering.
Several aspects have been instrumental to Q-Park's decision to move their existing charge points in Germany and Ireland to a new CPMS, including GreenFlux's smart charging possibilities, integration with external (e.g. payment and energy management) vendors, managed roaming, accurate invoicing and reimbursement processes, reliable uptime and high level of service.
To start the collaboration, GreenFlux will migrate about 120 charge points from Q-Park Ireland and over 700 charge points from Q-Park Germany to the GreenFlux EV charging management solution. Earlier, GreenFlux already migrated around 1.700 EVSEs (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) to the GreenFlux charge point management system (CPMS).
GreenFlux has already migrated over 35,000 charge points from a large variety of customers. The EV charging software provider recorded a 99.8% uptime over all migrated chargers.
'We are committed to offer seamless charging services to our customers and are delighted to expand our partnership with GreenFlux to enable this. Our experience with GreenFlux in the Netherlands has laid the foundation for our expanded collaboration in key growth markets Germany and Ireland. We have full trust in both migration processes as well as enabling daily operations through the GreenFlux CPMS back end, supporting our EV charging customers and connecting eMobility Service Providers via GreenFlux's well-established network and partnerships,' said Peter Mertens, Head of Real Estate & Energy Services at Q-Park.
'This expansion marks an important milestone in our collaboration with Q-Park and demonstrates the trust we have built together over the years. The successful migration of Q-Park Netherlands laid the foundation for extending our partnership into Germany and Ireland. These are key markets for GreenFlux, and supporting Q-Park's EV charging ambitions there further strengthens our position across Europe,' stated Freerik Meeuwes, Director Sales & Operations at GreenFlux. 'We are proud that Q-Park continues to choose GreenFlux as its technology partner as it further advances its charging strategy. Together, we are creating a scalable and future-ready charging ecosystem for EV drivers.'
