Saba begins operating a new car park in Concepción (Chile)

The 415-space car park includes a new landscaped area in the square in which trees have been planted, opposite the Concepción Law Courts.
Saba Estacionamientos de Chile, a subsidiary of saba (the abertis Group's car park business unit), has today begun operating a new car park situated in Plaza Tribunales de Justicia in the city of Concepción, Chile. The new parking centre has 415 spaces distributed over almost 10,600m of gross floor area.

The project includes a new landscaped area for the square in which trees have been planted. A fountain and an amphitheatre for artistic and cultural use have also been built. The complex has involved the renovation of a total floor area of over 14,000m.

The car park has been equipped with the latest technological advances, such as a control system, closed circuit television and signage. The aim of all of this is to offer a quality service to its customers, based on saba's policy of prioritising innovation, the application of new technologies and the idea of the car park as a fundamental element of mobility.

The opening of this car park will also help to relieve traffic congestion in a very busy area of the city, and will contribute to an improvement in residents' quality of life through improved convenience and safety.

Following the opening of this new car park, saba now manages a total of 15 car parks in Chile, with an overall capacity of nearly 9,000 spaces and more than 3.5 million customers in the cities of Santiago, Concepción and Valparaíso.
