Saba Italia invests 17.3 million euros in acquiring its first car park in Venice
Saba Italia, SpA., a wholly-owned subsidiary of saba, has recently acquired a car park in Mestre, the mainland part of the city of Venice. The transaction was carried out through the purchase of a multi-storey car park building.
It should be remembered that in January Saba completed the acquisition of the 40% of Saba Italia which was held by Autostrade, SpA, so gaining 100% control of its Italian subsidiary. Saba Italia has been operating in Italy since 1999, and has established itself as one of the most important companies in the country’s car park sector, managing a total of 30 parking sites with 14,513 places, in cities including Rome, Milan, Trieste, Verona, Assisi and Rieti, among others. To these sites currently in operation must be added 12 sites with a further 4,345 places which are currently under construction.
Saba currently manages 85,413 parking places
Saba currently manages a total of 85,413 places spread over 156 parking sites in Spain, Italy, Chile, Portugal, Morocco and Andorra. Moreover, taking into account the planned sites, Saba will soon be managing 171 parking sites with 90,917 places.Saba is the car park subsidiary of the abertis infrastructure group, a corporation which also operates in the airport, motorway, telecommunications infrastructure and logistics services sectors. abertis is the leading private organisation in Spain in the management of transport and communications infrastructures.
