Ceremonious Opening of the new Car Park at San Francisco Airport

It is really worth a special event if the director of San Francisco Airport, Mr. John L. Martin, celebrates the opening of a new Parking Garage and hands it over.
It is really worth a special event if the director of San Francisco Airport, Mr. John L. Martin, celebrates the opening of a new Parking Garage and hands it over. Since June, 1 2006, the visitors of the airport can dispose of about 4,000 parking spaces in the newly established long-term Parking Garage (formerly known as Lot DD).
The car park management system, based on side stripe technology, is a Scheidt & Bachmann system.

As the car park users only pay their fee for parking but not for waiting in the exit lane, you will not find any of the common cashier booths as usual. All exit lanes are express exits, i.e. the parking fee can be paid already at the automatic pay stations on your way to your car. A license plate recognition system will ensure a high standard of security in and around the airport area.
