Cologne/Bonn Airport has been equipped with a barcode system of Scheidt & Bachmann
Since 01 April 2006, the parking system of the cargo area at the Cologne/Bonn Airport has been equipped with a barcode system of Scheidt & Bachmann, which is since then in successful operation. In this sensitive area of the airport, many security procedures have to be met, e.g. this project meets the European Regulations for Security on Airports.
At the 7 entries, there are not only vehicle controls but also personal checks. After personal checking, the entry devices (for cars and vans) are released and can be passed after drawing a ticket or after identification via a transponder card. A similar procedure will take place on the 3 exit routes.
