Convenient identification with the UHF Windshield Label by Scheidt & Bachmann

It could hardly be any more convenient or efficient: a car approaches the garage entrance, and after just a short pause, the barrier opens itself. The customer has no need to get a ticket or display a pass. This type of access control is possible with the use of UHF Technology. UHF stands for “Ultra High Frequency”. So-called UHF Labels or Tags operate in this frequency range to enable automatic and non-contact recognition, with the help of electromagnetic waves.

Scheidt & Bachmann has developed its own UHF Windshield Label with a partner. It can be used with Scheidt & Bachmann’s new or more recent existing installations. The small label, only 64 x 25.4mm, is fixed to the car windshield from the inside and can be read within a range of approx. 4 metres. The label is encrypted, ensuring that it is unique and immune to forgery. Optional safety punching prevents the label being removed without destroying the windscreen.

Many of our customers are thrilled with the convenient handling of the Scheidt & Bachmann UHF Windshield Label and are using it successfully. We will gladly respond to any enquiries about the integration of our UHF labels into other installations.
