LPR system in the new Car Park in Talavera de La Reina, Toledo (Spain)

The car park Jardines del Prado in Talavera de La Reina has been put into commission at the end of January this year.
Talavera_1.jpgSpace is provided on two levels for more than 670 vehicles. The operator Isolux Corsán has decided to use the innovative technology of the Car Park Management System by Scheidt & Bachmann. The car park presents itself to its customers with great safety and user comfort.
In accordance with the legal provisions in Spain, entries and exits are provided with a system for license plate recognition (LPR).

The ticket data is linked with the recorded license plate and compared with the data stored in the management system. This is to trace which vehicle has used the car park at what time, for instance for tracing interrogations by official authorities.
The automatic pay stations, which have been painted in the operators corporate design, like all the other equipment, are provided with a large, consumer-friendly display. For the sake of operating comfort, it is possible to switch over from Spanish to other operational languages. On the automatic pay stations it is possible to pay the parking fee by coins or banknotes. The car park is linked to a master computer located in the operators control centre in Madrid. From here all car park management systems can be controlled. This global solution, which has already been implemented successfully in numerous projects by Scheidt & Bachmann, permits the operator not only to management on a global level but also to export the accounting data to the own SAP system.
