Scheidt & Bachmann sends congratulations on the ceremonial opening of the new T3 terminal at Las Vegas Airport, USA

Terminal T3 at Las Vegas Airport was ceremonially opened on 27th June 2012. Along with the terminal, the new T3 parking garage and the neighbouring parking areas were also handed over for use and the Parking Management System from Scheidt & Bachmann was put into operation.

"As was the case in the previous construction phases, our work together with the team from the Clark County Airport Authority was characterised by a great deal of trust and professionalism", enthused Felix Kuchmann, the responsible project manager from Scheidt & Bachmann.

The opening of Terminal T3 means that a further 5,980 parking spaces are now available to passengers and staff at the airport. Scheidt & Bachmann Equipment has already become a familiar presence at Las Vegas Airport. Parking in the existing parking garages and parking areas has run smoothly ever since entervo, the innovative parking management system from Scheidt & Bachmann, was installed in 2010. In the course of integrating the new parking areas into the overall system, the former server structure was converted to a virtual system. It is now very easy to obtain an overall insight into the complete parking situation at the airport.

"Trips to Las Vegas will certainly be less hassle in future – and apparently the metropolis in the Nevada desert has more to offer than just a great airport," joked Scheidt & Bachmann's project manager after the opening ceremony.
