Security and convenience in truck parking

Precisly at times of economic crisis and an associated decline in goods transport on the roads, operators of motorway service stations and truck stops can score points with guests with regard to service and security and in this way achieve high visitors numbers to their facilities.
With what will be the 11th MAXI truck stop one of the most modern truck stops in Germany is being built in Gießen-Lützellinden on the motorway A45. Apart from customer-friendly service in terms of food, shops, entertainment and facilities for personal hygiene, the truckers have a parking area with high security convenience for 100 trucks.

The parking area is equipped with entervo, the innovative parking management system from Scheidt & Bachmann and permits flexible pricing on the part of the operator.
Among other things, the parking tickets can be easily used in the food area as vouchers. In the access area to the truck stop there is a display for the remaining places, showing how many free truck parking spaces there still are. Thanks to the numerical restriction to 100, there is no more risk either of the trucks obstructing each other when parked or of blocking the exit. The driver who has a goods schedule will welcome this.

Securing of the parking area by barrier booms and fences considerably reduces the risk of attack or even of truck theft. Forwarding companies are therefore assured that their cargo is securely stored overnight. The entry and exit control devices at truck height can be operated conveniently from the driver cabin and stand for convenience and customer-oriented technology.

More truck stops and service stations have been equipped with the flexible parking management system entervo and are about to be opened.
