Scheidt & Bachmann Enables Digital Parking Experience for Q-Park HolidayParking at Hamburg Airport

To improve communication in the entrance area, the parking handling system will be supplemented by the smart entervo.sign from Scheidt & Bachmann.

Q-Park Operations Germany GmbH & Co. KG took over the Q-Park HolidayParking P11 parking property at Hamburg Airport with 1178 parking spaces on 01.02.2023.

Under the umbrella of the joint partnership between Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions Germany and Q-Park, the parking terminal will be completely replaced. The installation of the latest hardware, including cutting speeds, will enable Q-Park's digital parking offer at the site in the future. Customers will not only be able to reserve parking spaces in advance as usual but will also be able to enter and exit contactless and ticketless via license plate recognition. Short-term parkers as well as long-term parkers can use the Q-Park app to benefit from the same advantages as customers who have reserved a parking space in advance.

To improve communication in the entrance area, the parking handling system will be supplemented by the smart entervo.sign from Scheidt & Bachmann. The 55" display offers a variety of possibilities for the visual provision of information. "The use of such digital displays improves Q-Park's digital customer journey, as we can now provide visually prepared information tailored to the customer and the parking object at the entrance," explains Roman Rohrberg, Head of Marketing and Sales at Q-Park Germany.

We are pleased that we were able to realize the technical partnership at this location, which enables the interaction of two systems.
