SECURE PARKING FOR MOTOR BIKES IN PETERBOROUGH

A city with a large population of motor cycles has invested in the Motoloc stainless steel low level anchor rail.
metric.gifA total of 64 metres of secure rail has been installed on and off street in Peterborough in a contract handled by Metric on behalf of Motoloc.

The secure rails, which provide motor bike riders with free parking, add protection to certain parts of the city and offer dedicated areas for motor cycles to be parked.

The installation, which assists at least 64 bikes at a time, includes the city’s Northminster multi-storey, regional pool car park, St. Peter’s Road and King Street.

In St. Peter’s Road, Metric had to ensure the anchor rails protected a grade one listed monument and in King Street the rails had to match the pattern of existing street railings.

Peterborough City Council is using over 90 Metric Accent machines for both on and off street pay and display parking.
