For users it makes parking more convenient: no need to go to a parking meter, no searching for change – and the parking time can be extended conveniently by mobile phone at any time from a café or changing room. Communities profit, because it is easier to monitor the parking lots – and more money flows into the city’s treasury.
In general there is a boom in payment by mobile phone: experts expect that within four years mobile phone users will pay at least ten times as much by mobile phone as they did last year.
