Sixty New Metric's For North Tyneside

North Tyneside Council is installing a total of 60 new Metric machines in Whitley Bay and North Shields.
Some are part of a new scheme and others are in a replacement programme.
metric.gifNew proposals are coming to fruition in North Shields town centre where 29 of the machines will be installed. They will replace 11 existing Metric Auto Slot models.

The council, who went out to tender as part of their upgrade for the parking scheme, charge 30p an hour for 30 minutes.
