green e-filling.pngSKIDATA, a leading global supplier of access management solutions, has expanded its product range with solutions for e-mobility. With reservation portals, flexible interfaces, and a state-of-the-art billing platform, car park operators can provide e-mobile customers with attractive offers. And they can choose to source the billing function to the professional SKIDATA platform.

With SKIDATA E-Mobility, parking customers can easily and conveniently recharge their emobile vehicles while parked in the garage. Your parking ticket functions as an ID for the electricity filling station that "refuels" the ecar while parked. Additionally, parking time and electricity costs are billed together on a single ticket. Customers can pay easily and conveniently at the Automated Payment Machine or POS.

This concept can be adapted seamlessly to different customer groups: From regular customers and daytrippers to fleet management and car share models to innovative combinations of individual and mass transport systems. Parking and charging station can be booked in advance via internet.

Robert Weiskopf, SKIDATA board member, states: "E-mobility from SKIDATA is ideal for building customer loyalty, and it also allows for market-driven pricing, from pay-per-use flat fee to dynamic pricing depending on the parking facility's electricity use."

In addition, SKIDATA provides a billing platform that can be used in parking facilities as well as at on-street spaces. The billing platform can also be used as a stand-alone product to connect a shared parking and e-mobility solution (parking management system, charging station, and user costs) with energy suppliers and payment providers.

Customers register in advance and can use a municipal ticket, e-mobility card, credit card, or their mobile phone for identification at the charging terminal. This enables customers to pay at directly at the terminal, as well as monthly via online accounts.
