Standard Parking Announces Denver International Airport and Richmond International Airport Contract Awards

Standard Parking Corporation, one of the nation's leading providers of parking management, ground transportation and other ancillary services, today announced two new airport parking contract awards.
The City and County of Denver has selected a Standard Parking joint venture to manage the parking operation at Denver International Airport (DIA), and the Capital Region Airport Commission has awarded Standard Parking a contract to provide parking and transportation services at Richmond (Virginia) International Airport (RIC).
The DIA parking operation is one of the largest in the world, with over 40,000 parking spaces in multiple garages, four surface lots and two separate valet services, and generates more than $100 million in annual parking revenue. Standard Parking's joint venture partner, DAJA International LLC, is a minority-owned parking firm that will be responsible for the parking valet services at DIA. The Standard Parking joint venture began managing the DIA parking operations on October 16, 2008.
Richmond International Airport has two garages and three remote surface lots with approximately 7,300 parking spaces. In addition to managing those parking spaces, Standard Parking will operate a fleet of 15 shuttle buses to transport passengers and airport employees between the terminal and the remote parking lots.
Jack Ricchiuto, Executive Vice President of Standard Parking's Airport Division, stated, "We are extremely pleased and excited to be awarded the parking contracts for these world-class airports. We believe our Airport Division's team of devoted, experienced parking professionals is recognized throughout the industry for its ability to deliver excellence in parking services, and we look forward to doing so for the traveling public at DIA and RIC."
Standard Parking Corporation, with more than 13,100 employees, manages approximately 2,100 parking facilities containing over one million parking spaces in more than 330 cities across the United States and Canada, including parking-related and shuttle bus operations serving approximately 60 airports.
