Standard Parking Awarded Parking, Shuttle Contracts at Portland, Cincinnati and Roanoke Airports

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Parking Corporation (NASDAQ:STAN), one of the nation's leading providers of parking management services, announced that it has been awarded various parking and shuttle bus operation contracts for the Portland (Oregon) International Airport, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and the Roanoke (Virginia) Regional Airport.
The Port of Portland selected Standard Parking to manage the 15,000 public and employee parking spaces at Portland International Airport. The Airport's progressive use of revenue control technology includes Quick Pay, an automated parking payment system. More than 80% of all parking transactions at the Airport are processed through automated, cashier-less systems. "We look forward to serving the Portland International Airport and its customers. As a leader in the implementation of cutting-edge technology and advanced revenue control systems at airports across the country, Standard Parking will play an important role in the effective use of the highly automated system recently installed there," noted Robert Reiser, Senior Vice President of Standard Parking's Airport Division.

Commencing in August, Standard Parking will expand its current parking operations at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to include a new public parking shuttle service. The shuttle service will pick patrons up at the terminals and drop them off at their cars, a significant upgrade from the current system that requires patrons to walk to designated shuttle stops. Standard Parking also will provide a fleet of nine new buses serving the fixed-route employee facility and twelve new buses serving the trunk-to-trunk long-term public facility. "We are pleased to expand our scope of services at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. We believe the new trunk-to-trunk shuttle service will greatly enhance customer service and convenience for long-term parkers," commented Jack Ricchiuto, Executive Vice President of Standard Parking's Airport Division.

The Roanoke Regional Airport Commission awarded Standard Parking a multi-year contract to collect parking revenue, provide various maintenance services and conduct marketing activities to promote airport parking at the Airport's long-term and short-term lots. Standard Parking also will provide shuttle service from the long-term lot to the terminal. The Airport's three parking lots contain 1,800 parking spaces.

Commenting on these contract awards, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, James A. Wilhelm, stated, "We are extremely pleased that our Airport Division is continuing to grow, not only by adding to our inventory of managed facilities but also by expanding the scope of services we provide to our valued existing airport client base, as evidenced by our new assignment in Cincinnati."

Standard Parking Corporation, with approximately 11,000 employees, manages over 1,900 parking facilities containing over one million parking spaces in more than 300 cities across the United States and Canada. The Company manages parking-related and shuttle bus operations serving more than 60 airports.
