Casey Jones to Join Standard Parking

Standard Parking Corporation, a leading national provider of parking management, ground transportation and other ancillary services, today announced that Casey Jones will join the Company on July 1st as Vice President, Institutional Services.

Jones will focus primarily on business development and sales for the Company's SP Plus® University and SP Plus®Healthcare operating divisions.

Jones will report directly to Roamy Valera, Senior Vice President, Municipal and Institutional Services.

Jones has had an expansive career in the municipal and institutional sectors. Before joining Standard Parking, he served as the Director of Transportation and Parking for Boise State University, and previously held positions at the University of Colorado, Boulder and with Place and Plexus Consulting, LLC. Jones also has served as the General Manager of Smart Park, an award-winning off-street parking system for the City of Portland.

Throughout his career, Jones has served on numerous community and professional development organizations, most recently as the chair of the International Parking Institute. He also was the founding president of the Pacific Intermountain Parking and Transportation Association, served on the Board of the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Association for Commuter Transportation, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Green Parking Council. Jones earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Eastern Washington University and received a B.A. Degree in Political Science at the University of Baltimore. He is also a Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP).
