Stirling Lloyd Expand Joint Range
Stirling Lloyd, market leaders in structural protection technology, have launched an expansion joint system to complement their Integritank structural waterproofing and Decseal car park waterproofing and wearing course systems.
The system consists of a two component, liquid applied, solvent free, reinforced resin membrane applied in-situ to create a flexible and highly resilient expansion joint. A unique feature of the joint is its ability to cope with the challenges presented by directional changes in complicated structures, whilst still maintaining waterproofing integrity.
Installation is carried out by specially trained and certified Authorised Contractors, ensuring that workmanship is of the highest standard.
Recent UK applications include the prestigious Sentinel Point residential development in South London where the Sentinel Saba Joint was used in conjunction with Stirling Lloyd's Integritank system. The joint, which spanned between two adjacent buildings needed to accommodate three-dimensional movements of up to 40mm. The success of this project has created strong interest from architects and developers of similar high profile developments.
The system was also used at Leighton Buzzard Multi Storey Car Park to provide a watertight expansion joint between the car park deck and the structurally separate stair tower buildings. The Sentinel Saba Joints were installed as part of a complete refurbishment of the car park, using Stirling Lloyd's Decseal and Safetrack systems.
