Successful trial of the EMV Level 2 Chip and PIN solution from Cale BriParc, UK

The trial consisted of upgrading two of the Boroughs existing Cale pay and display machines with a suite of EMV Level 2 Chip and PIN reader and keypad, allowing motorists the choice of paying for their parking by Visa, Mastercard, Delta or Visa Electron, as well as by coins.

As a result of the successful trial of the Cale Chip and PIN solution, the London Borough of Camden is now considering expanding credit card acceptance further across their pay and display operation.
