T2 Flex Provides Unified System for Parking Permits, Enforcement, Access & Revenue Control
In response to technology trends and increasingly complex parking operations, T2 Systems announces the industrys first unified system that combines management of permits, enforcement, and access and revenue control. The enterprise version of the T2 Flex parking management system includes product packs and services that work together to provide a complete parking solution for municipalities, universities or private parking organizations.
Product packs include traditional Flex applications such as Enforcement, Permit Fulfillment, Permit Management, as well as new Access Control and Revenue Control.
We partnered with customers and other parking experts to analyze how parking has evolved and where its going. Built on this foundation, T2 Flex enterprise brings together all aspects of parking management and delivers them from a shared system environment, said Blake Laufer, Vice President of Research and Technology for T2 Systems.
The first implementation of this system was at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). According to Carol Pferrer, Director of Parking and Transportation, Having one system, one software application and one support contact has given us many efficiencies from the front to the back end of my parking operation. Im very excited about the reality of a unified system. I see this as the beginning of a long overdue change in the way we do business in the parking industry.
The unified parking management platform is available with the new T2 Flex v6.0, which offers organizations even more functionality and performance improvements to make the parking organizations operations easier.
Additional benefits of the system include:
- Unified inventory and management of all parking spaces, no matter the type of management or use of the given spaces
- Viewing and managing all customer activity and information from a single user interface; no bouncing from one system to another
- Managing all permits and access credentials in one database with no duplication of data or data entry
- Reporting on all sources of revenue from one system
- Unified management of all waiting lists
- Single point of on-line access to everything parking for customers
- Unified reporting
- Unified business process configuration and tracking
