T2 Systems Adds Apple Pay and Google Pay to Its UPsafety® Solution to Accelerate Parking Payments and Improve Revenue Collection

T2 Systems, a Verra Mobility company, today announced that its UPsafety® Permit and Enforcement platform will support Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link, expanding payment options for parking operations and delivering a faster, more convenient experience for patrons. The enhancement is part of UPsafety’s continued focus on simplifying the payment process and helping agencies improve collection rates while reducing administrative overhead.

Expanding with Digital Wallets

Adding Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link further enhances the UPsafety platform by enabling one-tap checkout, particularly on mobile devices. Early controlled deployments show strong adoption, with approximately 50% of customer payments completed using digital wallets.

Customers participating in controlled deployments reported a smooth transition with no disruption to payment experiences. They noted no increase in payment-related complaints and confirmed that reconciliation processes remained accurate and consistent. Overall, feedback indicates that both patrons and internal teams experienced reliable and seamless payment performance.

Digital wallets continue to gain adoption as preferred payment sources. According to Capital One Shopping Research, 69% of U.S. adults have used digital wallets at least once in the past 30 days and 38% of Americans use digital wallets at least once per week, including 10% who use them daily. Research from Stripe shows that enabling digital wallets could increase payment conversion rates and revenue by more than 20%.
