Residents and visitors of Park City, Utah, will now be able to pay for parking quickly and easily on their phone using T2 MobilePay. The mobile payment platform, from parking technology leader T2 Systems, can be used at 400 on-street and 600 off-street parking spaces in downtown Park City.
“We are excited that the T2 MobilePay platform is now available to the Park City community,” said Bric Fraser, Business Development Manager, MobilePay for T2 Systems. “Since there is never an app to download, first-time and repeat visitors share the same convenience. This solution will increase mobile payment adoption and customer satisfaction.”
T2 MobilePay, powered by TEXT2PARK, is a browser-based parking payment solution that does not require parkers to download an app. They simply send a text message or scan a QR code specific to the lot, enter their parking and payment information, and go on their way. Meanwhile, parking operators are given complete control of their customers, data, brand, and revenue.
“So far, feedback from users has been highly positive, and we’re excited to utilize more of the tools T2 MobilePay has to offer, like validations and merchant accounts,” said Johnny Wasden, Parking Manger for Park City.
