TagMaster launches USA operation

Kista, Sweden - TagMaster AB, world-wide manufacturer and marketer of RFID in the 2.45 GHz range, has recently launched a direct distribution channel in North America.
We are pleased to announce the opening of a new regional office, TagMaster North America, to provide the market with local expertise and support. TagMaster sees significant potential for expanding its existing RFID sales in North America. Our success in Asia and Europe has taught us the value of being close to the market. With Mr. Ali Khaksar managing our new office we have found the right solution for the North American market, said Magnus Rehn, President of TagMaster.

For several years TagMaster has enjoyed strong relationships with partners within the parking and vehicle access industry in North America. The new office will play a key role in further expanding this business by providing the market with outstanding sales support as well as pre- and post-sales technical support on all TagMaster equipment. In addition, one of the key strengths will be the ability to offer same day shipping within North America for TagMaster equipment in stock and free ground shipment on all TagMaster products.

It is with high expectation and confidence that I take on the challenge of establishing a TagMaster operation in North America, said Mr. Ali Khaksar, Manager TagMaster North America. With TagMasters world-class RFID devices, designed for quick and simple configuration and step by step implementation, we will meet a need in the market and allow customers to maximize efficiency and profitability within their businesses.

New line of products from TagMaster

In line with the office opening TagMaster will also be introducing a completely new generation of long-range TagMaster RFID readers for the parking and vehicle access industries worldwide. These products were previewed earlier this year at the IPI show in Las Vegas in May. The new generation of long-range RFID readers incorporate the latest cutting edge technology with several innovative new features and a modern design. The new generation is fully backwards compatible and can be easily added to existing installations.

There will be three reader models in the new series, the LR-3, LR-6 and LR-12. The first two are available for shipment in the US from September and the LR-12 towards the end of the year. The number indicates the read-range in metres. This new reader series includes an open source Linux Operating System, which simplifies customer modifications to suit individual access control applications. New features include Ethernet connectivity and web based management tools to support the latest developments in system design now being introduced within the industry. The reader design also features an IP 65 enclosure, which means the readers are fully protected from the environment and do not need any extra protection when installed outside.
