...NOW LARGEST NEAR-AIRPORT PARKING COMPANY AT LAX

The Parking Spot-Sepulveda Pampers More Than 2,000 Cars. In A Beautiful New Setting One-Half Mile North of Los Angeles International Airport

CHICAGO (July 10, 2003) – The Parking Spot, the country's leading near-airport parking company along with H.B. Drollinger Co., a well respected local developer, recently announced the unveiling of The Parking Spot’s second near-airport parking facility serving Los Angeles at LAX. The Parking Spot, a service-oriented airport parking provider known best for its bright yellow spotted vans, is now the largest near-airport parking provider in Southern California. H.B. Drollinger Co., as owner and developer of the parking structure, has added to its legacy as Westchester’s most significant development and property management firms and continues its five-decade effort to improve the Westchester Central Business District.
parkingspot.jpgDescribed as “the Taj Mahal of covered garages,” The Parking Spot’s newest facility at Los Angeles International Airport just might be the finest parking structure in Southern California – if not the United States. Designed by Wayne Banks of Parkitects and built by Swinerton Builders and Arciero Brothers, the structure features Spanish-Mediterranean-style architecture, wrought iron gates and balconies, and lush landscaping. The Parking Spot-Sepulveda joins The Parking Spot's existing near-airport parking garage at 5701 West Century Boulevard as the premier provider of parking services at LAX.

Located just north of the airport on the corner of Sepulveda Boulevard and Westchester Parkway, this new structure is just yards from the airport’s Century Boulevard entrance. It is the closest covered-parking garage to LAX and the only near-airport parking garage on convenient Sepulveda Boulevard.
At 750,000 square feet, seven stories (four above-ground parking levels as well as three below-ground levels) and holding more than 2,000 cars, the Sepulveda facility is one of three covered garages in The Parking Spot portfolio. Like other Parking Spot locations, The Parking Spot-Sepulveda features the latest technology, including an on-line reservation system and an electronic frequent parker program. It also offers other amenities that have helped The Parking Spot fulfill its motto of “Making Air Travel A Little Easier,” – valet, covered and open-air parking, car washing and detailing, free USA Today newspapers at check-in, free bottled water at check-out; emergency battery service, shuttles that operate every 5-7 minutes, a high level of customer service and much more. To ensure customers with the highest level of security, the facility also includes a variety of high-tech cameras and security elements.
Perhaps most appealing to Southern California travelers is a feature that no other near-airport parking facility has – a special entrance to the In-N-Out Burger restaurant located next door. Rates after are $9.95 per day for roof top parking, $13.95 for covered self-parking, and $14.95 for valet service covered parking.
The Parking Spot operates 13 near-airport parking facilities serving nine airports in seven cities. These facilities are located in Dallas (three locations serving Dallas/Fort Worth International and Love Field airports), Atlanta, Houston (two locations serving Intercontinental and Hobby airports), Kansas City, Los Angeles (two locations serving LAX on Century and Sepulveda Boulevards), St. Louis (three locations), and Orlando.
