The Training Achievements keep coming for NSL colleagues

NSL's latest group of BTEC students have received their qualifications
in team leading.
Thirty two students received their Level 2 certificates from Enforcement Solutions director Alastair Cooper.

The successful candidates, who came from all parts of NSL's business, take the total of successful BTEC students in NSL to more than 230.

Head of Learning and Development Barry Hopley commented:

"I am very proud of the learning & development that NSL provides for its colleagues. When development is associated with nationally recognised qualifications it gives an additional level of recognition for the individual and the business.

Last month we were pleased to see more than 30 team leaders receiving their BTEC qualifications in team leading. This approach continues to support our organisational target for internal promotions, with over 25% of

colleagues achieving this qualification going on to more senior positions."

Barry added that ongoing training such as BTEC qualifications, were vital to enable NSL to continue to improve the services it delivers to clients.

As an L&D function we now provide a wide range of recognised qualifications through Edexcel and City & Guilds for our colleagues. They include BTEC's in CCTV operations, Vehicle Immobilsation, conflict management and CEO City & Guilds to name a few. During 2009 the NSL L&D team issued over 1800 nationally recognised qualifications to its colleagues, an amazing achievement

"At NSL we provide well-trained, professional people to deliver complex services - training such as the BTEC qualifications enables us to make sure we continue to deliver quality."
