Unity5: Joe Bubb Appointed Director of Account Management for the Private Sector

Joe’s story is one of rapid growth, technical curiosity, and a deep-rooted understanding of what parking operators actually need. Below, we look at the journey that led Joe to this new leadership role.

The Journey: From Operator to Director

Joe’s career is a masterclass in industry immersion. He didn’t just join the parking sector; he built the functions that weren’t there before.

• 2018: The “Accidental” Specialist Joe joined one of the UK’s largest private parking operators. At the time, an “Account Management” function didn’t exist. Joe was tasked with building it from scratch, learning the intricacies of the private sector from the ground up.
• 2020–2023: Mastering the Trade Quickly rising through the ranks to Senior Key Account Manager, Joe became an expert in the operational challenges faced by the UK’s biggest players.
• October 2023: Joining Unity5, Joe joined Unity5 as a Senior Account Manager. His goal? To marry his “front-line” operator knowledge with the cutting-edge tech side of the industry.
• March 2025: Building the Future Promoted to Head of Account Management, Joe took on the challenge of recruiting and building the current high-performing AM team that our clients rely on today.
• February 2026: Director of Account Management (Private Sector) Today, Joe steps into a Director role, likely becoming one of the youngest in the industry to hold such a senior position.

Joe’s promotion reinforces Unity5’s commitment to delivering world-class service. Having sat on the operator side for years, Joe understands the pain points, the pressures, and the potential of the private sector.
