VINCI Park UK returns to Milton Keynes with new five year contract

VINCI Park UK, the specialist parking operator, has been awarded a five year parking management contract with Milton Keynes Council. The new contract includes on and off-street parking enforcement, cash collection, equipment maintenance, back office processing and Parking Shop management. 

The partnership commenced on 1st April and will run until 2018, with the option of extending for a further period of two years – through to 2020. It fits well with VINCI Park’s existing business in Milton Keynes, which includes the management of several off-street car parks in the town.

VINCI Park UK will be drawing on its extensive experience in the parking industry and specific experience of working in the Milton Keynes area to help promote efficiencies in parking, while improving customer service and ease of use. In particular, a new virtual permit system and corresponding website to guide customers in using the new permits will help to save time and effort when purchasing and renewing their parking permits.

As part of its wider service offering, VINCI Park UK will be looking to improve equipment and infrastructure such as payment machines. The company is also introducing a new fleet of parking maintenance vehicles to assist in enforcement and maintenance of the town’s on and off street parking spaces. Existing staff at the town’s parking service will benefit from VINCI Park UK’s accredited training programme, awarding nationally recognised transferable qualifications.
