Wilbur Smith Associates Announces M. Stevenson Smith, P.E., as Chairman of the Board and CEO

Mr. Smith was promoted in May 2004 to serve as Senior Vice President of Corporate Studies and Planning activities firmwide, a position in which he is responsible for coordination and decision-making between offices, regions, and divisions. He is familiar with all aspects of the firm. Also, as Senior Vice President of the firm's Special Transportation Services Group, Mr. Smith has led and built the firm's aviation, rail, freight, economics, geotechnical, and transportation planning activities.

The WSA Board of Directors also announced the retirement of Robert J. Zuelsdorf, as its Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President effective August 2, 2004. Mr. Zuelsdorf had been employed with WSA since 1969. The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude for his many years of service.
