Wilbur Smith Associates Promotes Jennifer H. Humphreys to Associate-in-Charge of Charleston,SC Office

Ms. Jennifer H. Humphreys has been promoted to Associate-in-Charge of Wilbur Smith Associates' Charleston, South Carolina office. In her new role, Ms.Humphreys will be responsible for coordinating the activities of WSA's diverse Charleston office staff. In recognition of the increased opportunities and transportation challenges occurring in South Carolina's Low Country Region, WSA is making a commitment to serve the area with its full range of engineering, traffic, water resources, environmental, site development and urban planning staff.
Wilbur_Smith_Assoc.jpgIn addition to Ms. Humphreys' role as Associate-in-Charge, she will maintain her project-related responsibilities with the Transportation Modeling Group in the Planning & Policy Division. Ms. Humphreys specializes in Geographic Information Systems, Travel Demand Modeling, Custom User Interface Development for GIS and Modeling Software, On-Call Modeling Support, and Comprehensive Transportation Planning.

Since joining WSA, Ms. Humphreys has participated in several high profile projects, including the Virginia I-81 Rail Diversion Study, Guam Highway Master Plan, Beaufort County Model Development, Charleston Port Truck Study, Maine Interstate Federal Truck Exemption Impact Study, Louisiana & Mississippi Statewide Travel Demand Models, and she works with the South Carolina Department of Transportation office of Statewide Planning to convert and update their travel demand models using TransCAD modeling software. She earned her B.A. in Geography & Urban Planning from the University of Georgia.
