The city of Krynica- Zdrój to implement on-street parking solution

The city of Krynica-Zdrój in Poland is about to employ the on-street parking solution Fastprk with support of its parking operator City Parking Group. In 2014, WorldSensing signed an agreement with the Polish company with the aim to implement WorldSensing’s smart parking technology in Poland.

In March 2016, WorldSensing installed 300 Fastprk sensors in the city of Gliwice. The positive effects and the reliable performance of the system convinced Krynice-Zdrój to have 78 Fastprk on-street park solutions installed throughout the busiest areas of the city.

The inhabitants of Krynice-Zdrój asked to improve the parking situation, because finding a free parking space turned out to be a laborious and time-consuming undertaking.

Not only can Fastprk reduce frustration when trying to locate a parking spot, it also allows drivers to save time, gas and associated costs.

The APP is a solution for end-users

Offering a mobility APP to inhabitants solves a variety of on-street parking issues. Especially because an application offers easier payment options than traditional parking scenarios.

Without an APP, people need to keep an eye on their watch to rush back in time to feed the parking meter to avoid being fined. With Fastprk inhabitants don't need to worry. The system includes a solution for cities to create a parking management APP. The APP identifies the user, locates free spaces and analyses the time someone needs to get from one point to another. Apart from being a real timesaver, people also don't need to worry about having to queue to pay for the service. When a driver leaves a parking space, the fee is automatically debited to the deposited credit card in the APP.

Because drivers are able to find vacant spaces faster, this increases overall parking occupation in the city and thus related revenue.

Thanks to Fastprk Krynice-Zdrój citizens can now download the app, register and effortlessly search and pay for a parking space.
