Zenobē Launches £100 Million Fund to Accelerate Electric Truck Adoption in Australia

New initiative targets Australian fleet operators with financing and infrastructure to support zero-emission heavy vehicles

UK-based fleet electrification specialist Zenobē has introduced a £100 million funding programme aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric trucks across Australia. The initiative is designed to support fleet operators seeking to transition to zero-emission heavy vehicles but facing cost and infrastructure challenges.

The funding will be allocated through an Expression of Interest (EOI) process, enabling logistics providers and commercial fleet owners in Australia to apply for tailored electrification support. This may include financing for vehicles, deployment of charging infrastructure, and ongoing energy management services.

By lowering the upfront investment required, Zenobē aims to make electric truck adoption more accessible to Australian operators. The bundled offering is structured to address both financial and operational hurdles, helping businesses move toward cleaner transport solutions more efficiently.

The programme is expected to facilitate the rollout of a substantial number of electric trucks across the country, contributing to emissions reduction targets and supporting Australia’s broader transition to sustainable transport.

Participants will also gain access to Zenobē’s technical expertise, including grid integration, battery optimization, and fleet performance management. This end-to-end support model is intended to streamline the electrification process for operators navigating complex infrastructure requirements.

This initiative forms part of Zenobē’s wider global strategy to decarbonise heavy transport, with Australia identified as a key market for scaling zero-emission freight solutions.
