We are looking for a new colleague with a degree in mathematics or physics to join our development team for a research and development position.

Job scope and tasks:

  • Participation in the entire product life cycle, from research and design phase through development and testing to further development
  • Research, design and development of image processing algorithms.
  • Research, development and optimization of neural networks and machine learning solutions.
  • Conducting basic research, applied research and development activities in order to raise the company's core products to a market-leading level and maintain its long-term competitiveness.
  • Research, investigation and professional evaluation of new products, technologies and innovative solutions.
  • Design, assembly and further development of software and hardware products, as well as development and test equipment.
  • Performing independent programming tasks, implementing, testing, debugging and optimizing algorithms based on goals set by R&D management.
  • Documenting research and development results and preparing technical documentation related to developments.
  • Professional cooperation with other organizational units of the company and participants in development projects.
  • Continuous monitoring of technological innovations, research results and industry trends related to the field.
  • Continuous development and updating of professional knowledge necessary for work.

Required knowledge and competencies:

  • BSc degree in Mathematics / Physics / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science
  • At least 2 years of C++ or Python experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Independence, teamwork

Another advantage for filling the position:

  • Mathematician/Physicist/Electrical Engineer/Informatics MSc degree
  • Experience in image processing
  • Proficiency in one of the following: OpenCV, TensorFlow, Visual Studio, Qt, SQL, Linux, Git, SVN, clean code, agile software development (SCRUM), unit testing
