Main tasks

  • Technical preparation, planning, coordination and follow-up of complex international projects.
  • Mapping and interpreting customer needs from a business, functional and technical point of view.
  • Elaboration of solution concepts, system proposals and technical alternatives based on customer requirements.
  • Coordination of IT network, camera technology, transport, electrical and mechanical system elements.
  • Examination of the technical feasibility, integration conditions, resource requirements and risks of the proposed solutions.
  • Technical support of the sales and bidding process, assistance in the preparation of offers, RFPs, RFIs and tender materials.
  • Preparation of technical descriptions, system concepts, project plans, schedules, presentations and decision-making materials.
  • Independent management of client meetings, needs assessments, professional workshops, presentations and technical consultations.
  • Preparation and coordination of pilot projects, proof-of-concept implementations, tests and system demonstrations.
  • Define the objectives, scope, milestones, deadlines, resource requirements and technical requirements of projects.
  • Coordinating the cooperation of internal technical, development, product management, sales, service and project areas.
  • Liaising with customers, partners, integrators, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, deadlines, quality requirements, and risks.
  • Managing changes affecting the technical or project scope, indicating deviations and decision points in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of documentation, status reports, minutes and management summaries related to the projects.
  • Participation in international on-site surveys, project launches, installations, handovers and professional events.

We are looking for you if

  • You have a higher technical degree, primarily in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, transport engineering, IT or a related field.
  • You have gained several years of experience in preparing, implementing or coordinating technical projects.
  • You are characterized by strong, system-level technical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • You are at home in at least some relevant fields, such as IT networks, camera systems, transport solutions, electrical systems or mechanical infrastructure.
  • You are able to understand the operation of complex systems and the connections between the various technical areas.
  • You have project management skills and are confident in managing deadlines, tasks, responsibilities, and risks.
  • You confidently communicate and present in front of professional, business and decision-making audiences alike.
  • You have fluent English language skills in both speech and writing.
  • I am characterized by independent, proactive and responsible work.
  • You work well with internal and external actors with different professional backgrounds.
  • You undertake regular, sometimes longer-term trips abroad to different parts of the world.

An advantage

  • Hands-on experience in IT networks, IP-based camera systems, or video technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of traffic engineering, traffic management, traffic safety or intelligent transport systems.
  • Experience gained in system integration or complex hardware-software projects.
  • Practice in international client projects or in a multicultural environment.
  • Presales, technical sales support or quotation experience.
  • Proficiency in compiling RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and technical offers.
  • Experience in coordinating pilot projects, proof-of-concept implementations, on-site installations or system handovers.
  • Knowledge of project management methodology or project management tools.
  • Knowledge of an additional foreign language.
