Adaptive Recognition is looking for a Vice President, Traffic Enforcement Sales, who will take full business responsibility and ownership for the global business success of the Traffic Enforcement (ANPR, traffic and speed enforcement) product portfolio. This position is an entrepreneurial senior management role within a technology company in a strong growth phase. The role holder will be the business owner of the Traffic Enforcement segment, with broad decision-making authority, clear accountability and performance expectations.

Mission 

The position is a business ownership role, more than a traditional sales management role. 

The VP of  Sales acts as the “mini-CEO” of the Traffic & Enforcement segment, responsible for: 

  • for trade and growth strategy, 
  • for the development and consistent implementation of the product and  market-driven roadmap,  
  • for international market positioning, 
  • and for the full implementation of the business plan. 

Main tasks: 

  • Full business and commercial (P&L) responsibility for the  Traffic Enforcement product range,  
  • Development and implementation of international sales and go- to -market strategy,
  • Creating and maintaining a sales  and marketing  roadmap , 
  • Preparing and delivering presentations at senior management and  board level,
  • Fulfillment of the business plan,  
  • Leading complex, high-value international negotiations (law enforcement, state and local government  organizations, and local integrator partners/main contractors ), 
  • A clear, credible and strong market representation of the  Traffic Enforcement product range,  
  • Close cooperation with development and production areas, 
  • Translating market and  customer feedback  into strategic and product priorities. 

The position requires a leadership profile who:

  • Able to make independent, confident and consistent managerial decisions without the need for micromanagement, 
  • Uses broad authority responsibly and consciously, in line with business priorities,

  • Confidently represents the interests of the product segment in senior management,  board and external partner environments. 

Required skills and experience: 

  • Senior sales  management experience  in Traffic Enforcement  / ANPR / ITS / Public  Safety  /  GovTech  ,   
  • High level presentation and persuasion skills (senior management,  board level), 
  • Balance of strategic thinking and execution discipline, 
  • Roadmap -level planning and implementation experience, 
  • Outstanding negotiation competence in an international, institutional environment ,
  • Strong business independence, decision-making ability and responsibility, 
  • The ability to consistently and authentically represent a product segment/brand internationally, 
  • Confident English language skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage.
