Sales Manager (Paris, FR)

Stanley Robotics

Job description

Stanley Robotics designs and operates autonomous robots for outdoor vehicle handling. Our systems move finished vehicles at logistics sites and park cars at airports: more on-site capacity, less damage to handling equipment, and an end to manual driving over large outdoor areas.

We work with automotive manufacturers, finished vehicle logistics operators, and airport groups in Europe and North America. The sales team is small, experienced, and fast-paced: you'll have direct access to the CEO, CRO, and engineering teams, and real influence on our market approach.

Your responsibilities

Pipeline and Business Development

  • Build and conduct outbound prospecting on target accounts in North America and Europe: manufacturers, FVL operators, ports and storage parks, airport operators and parking groups.
  • Qualify opportunities and map decision-makers, budget holders and technical prescribers within complex organizations.
  • Present Stanley Robotics solutions to prospects by highlighting operational benefit, business case and ROI rather than product features.
  • Manage deals throughout the entire cycle — discovery, site evaluation, proposal, commercial negotiation and closing — with the CRO on key accounts.

Accounts and coordination

  • To be the commercial point of contact between the client and our engineering, operations, project and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate site simulations, digital twins, proofs of concept and technical proposals with the relevant internal teams.
  • Develop existing accounts: identify new sites, next phases and new use cases.
  • Prepare client materials — presentations, brochures, proposals and contractual elements.

CRM, reporting and market analysis

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business activity in the CRM; maintain reliable forecasts.
  • Improve the team's use of the CRM, particularly by automating recurring reporting and certain process steps.
  • Regularly produce pipeline, forecasting and budget tracking reports and dashboards for the CRO and the management committee.
  • Build and maintain market analysis: trends, market share, competition and customer needs across both segments.

Events and business operations

  • Represent Stanley Robotics at industry trade shows and conferences in Europe and North America.
  • Contribute to the organization of client events, site visits and business trips, and produce the reports and actions that transform them into a pipeline.

Desired profile

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, with a proven mastery of the sales process, from prospecting to contract.
  • Sales experience in the industrial, logistics, automotive, mobility or infrastructure sectors — or a comparable long-cycle, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and data: pipeline hygiene, forecasting, reporting and analysis are integral parts of the role.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills — you produce your own client-ready materials, brochures or proposals.
  • Fluent in French and English. Both languages are used daily, internally as well as with international clients.
  • Structured, organized and autonomous. Comfortable in a scale-up where processes are still being built.
  • Available for travel in Europe and North America, and authorized to work in France.

The most popular

  • Direct experience in finished vehicle logistics, automotive supply chain, ports and storage facilities, or airport parking operation.
  • Experience in selling a technical or robotic product, or with operations and engineering contacts.
  • Knowledge of the North American market.
  • Good command of Google Workspace, Excel and PowerPoint, and a taste for automating one's own reporting.

Interview Procedure

Recruitment process

  • Introductory exchange with the Chief Revenue Officer (30 minutes).
  • Skills-based structured interview, based on the job scorecard (60 to 90 minutes).
  • Practical exercise: short account plan or simulated discovery meeting, presented to the team.
  • Final discussion with the CEO, followed by reference checks.
