Astron Buildings: Car Park in Brest

The car park at CHU La Cavale Blanche in Brest, France is a great example of how Astron Mobility designs, produces and builds parking for hospitals: functional, sustainable, and focused on the comfort of all users.

Designed by ABA-WORKSHOP, and #Opusia, and operated by Q-Park France, the new multi-storey car park adds 1,560 new parking spaces, bringing the total hospital capacity close to 3,000 spaces and provides easy connections to tram stops and access paths throughout the hospital.

🔹 Tailor-made design: With 15.50-meter clear spans, the structure offers wide, open spaces without columns, making parking safer, faster, and easier.

🔹 Quick, efficient construction: Thanks to Astron’s prefabricated steel system, the project was built quickly, with no disruption to hospital activities.

🔹 Optimized traffic flow: Special care was given to the flow of vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring smooth and safe access to the hospital and public transport connections.

🔹 User-friendly experience: Warm facade colors, natural light, clear signage, and smart layouts create a calm, welcoming place — helping to reduce stress for patients, visitors, and staff.
