Just a few meters away from the City of Arts and Sciences, AQUA Multiespacio is the first shopping center in Valencia that brings together leisure, commerce, tourism, and business spaces. In terms of vehicles, its car park serves almost 1.5 million customers, making it one of the busiest shopping centers in the area.
CAME Parkare was in charge of the installation and digitalization of the car park through the implementation of its ticketless system. The system is based on the recognition of the vehicle’s license plate through cameras located at the entry and exit lanes. From now on, customers can access and exit the car park without the need for a ticket, and payment can be made at the automatic payment station by entering the license plate number.
Customer Relationship and Needs
After more than 16 years, AQUA Multiespacio’s parking system needed to evolve towards more advanced technology that would enable it to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding user. After evaluating different alternatives and products offered, the client decided to continue relying on CAME PARKARE for the installation of their high-end PKE equipment, configured with all the necessary features to become a ticketless parking system.
A very competitive proposal for installation was presented both economically and in terms of execution times. During the process, delivery commitments were respected, and the car park was up and running within a record time of 4 weeks. The customer gave a very positive evaluation of the process, highlighting aspects such as the excellent relationship with the project manager and the high degree of customization of the products and maintenance plans to meet their needs.
11 entry terminals, 7 exit terminals, 5 APS, 18 LPR cameras operate across the four floors of the 1700 space car park.
The new system has simplified the entry and exit processes of the car park and has contributed to increasing the satisfaction of customers and subscribers who, after their first experiences, highlighted the novelty and convenience of the new system.
