More and more companies are implementing the ViaT system as a mean of payment aiming to satisfy customers. By this system, users can save time in unnecessary queues.

After the success of its implementation at important parking operators, CAME Parkare has developed and successfully launched the VIA-T System for the Spanish department store business group.

The traditional magnetic stripe card (store credit card) still exists but now gets supplemented by the OBE Card (On Board Equipment) which can be easily installed on the windshields of vehicles, so users can pay the parking stay with the ViaT System in their car parks.

The user gets into the car park VIA-Twithout stopping the vehicle to collect the ticket. The system records in the OBE (through the antenna of the ViaT System) input data from the entrance (car park, terminal, virtual ticket number, number plate, date, time ...) to meet with the current legislation related to consumers, which requires to link the entry operation with a vehicle, through the plate number.

After shopping time, users can return back to their vehicles without stopping at any Cashier or POS (Point of Sale) as usual, and get out straight of the car park. Discounts related to the done shopping are automatically applied thanks to the Via-T System. The payment gets done when users pass through the exit station and beep confirms the operation, so the barrier gate opens automatically allowing the exit of the vehicle.

This new payment system allows users to enter/exit the car park without stopping the vehicle and apply discounts by querying "on line" data base services from the store, increasing customer loyalty - Service to Customer.
