In the fast-evolving world of Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure, partnerships play a key role in shaping the future of e-mobility

In the fast-evolving world of Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure, partnerships play a key role in shaping the future of e-mobility. That’s why we at CCV are proud to announce a new cooperation with Efacec, a leading Portuguese EV charger manufacturer, as they expand their solutions for AFIR ad-hoc compliance in the German market and beyond.

A global player strengthening its position in a key market

With a presence in 87 countries and a strong reputation in EV charging, Efacec is no stranger to large-scale deployments. Now, as they consolidate their Germany’s dynamic EV charging market position, their goal is to offer an integrated charging and payment experience that meets European standards and EV drivers’ expectations.

Rapid integration. Ready for market.

In just five days, Efacec successfully integrated our CCV IM30 and CCV IM15 payment terminals in their EV charger portfolio and own backend solution (EVCore), thanks to CCV Cloud-Connect via OCPI – a future-proof integration for seamless backend communication. This fast-track integration not only underlines our mutual agility but also highlights the compatibility of our open-loop payment technologies.

Starting Q4 2025, Efacec extended their offer for ad-hoc payment systems compatibility, being capable of offering this all-in-one solution to charge point operators (CPOs) across Europe.

A powerful combination for CPOs

The cooperation is simple and effective:

  • Efacec provides chargers and backend (CPMS)
  • CCV supplies payment terminals and acquiring

Together, we deliver a reliable, end-to-end charging solution that is AFIR-compliant, quick to integrate, and easy to scale.
