If the pandemic caused by Covid-19 had any benefit for Green Center, it was forcing the company to think outside the box. The Green Center management and R&D department started focusing their attention on using the know-how of payment solutions in other areas – besides parking.
When a Green Center client – Prague Botanical Garden – came with the specific problem of lacking enough cashiers to sell entry tickets, the company came up with a solution. Green Center has supplied Prague Botanical Garden with its new product – six payment kiosks where visitors can easily purchase entry tickets without waiting in a long queue in front of a sales booth. In this case, the client has chosen to use their own software, accessing our API, which communicates with individual peripherals installed in the kiosks. The project is to be launched during this year.
The Payment Kiosk is a universal device that can be used for unattended collection of both cash and non-cash payments of fees as well as for the withdrawal of financial compensations. The fee collection function can be used for the collection of hospital, highway, entrance or other fees.
On top of stand-alone kiosks, Green Center has also added the individual fee collection function to their standard automatic pay stations, which are a part of the parking management system. This solution gives clients the comfort of paying for parking as well as other fees (entrance, hospital fee, etc.) at one point of sale.
