GREEN Center Introduces the Manual Pay Station GP Economy

The manual pay station GP Economy represents an affordable alternative to the automatic pay station GPE4M that is used as standard for the collection of parking fees within an economically priced parking system, the parking system GPE4P. However, the manual pay station can effectively replace the automatic pay station functions.

The main part of the manual pay station is a tablet or a mobile telephone featuring the Android operation system where a special software application is run. Parking cards are loaded into the application easily via a camera integrated in the mobile device. The calculation of parking fees made by the application is entirely automatic, based on a set price tariff. The collection of parking fees is carried out by an authorized employee. A single exit parking card and possibly also a receipt are printed on an external thermal printer that is wirelessly connected to the mobile device.

Price tariffs can be easily adjusted to the needs of operators. Different prices can be set for specific times of the day or week or for holidays and thus the economic benefit of the car park can be optimized. The accepted payments for sold services are recorded so the operator can have full control over the car park operation. The recording of all transactions prevents possible financial fraud caused by dishonest acting of employees responsible for the collection of parking fees and it can minimize losses associated with human failures. In addition to the parking fee collection, the manual pay station can be also used for the issue of a replacement parking card in case of its loss as well as for the collection of fees for other provided services.
