White parking ticket machines for Nieuwpoort, Belgium

Hectronic's Belgian sales partner Rauwers has clinched a deal for the Belgian city of Nieuwpoort. A total of 139 white Citea parking ticket machines with solar panels have been installed in Nieuwport. The machines are able to take coin payments and they feature a solar-operated 12 button key pad and the web-based CityLine management software.

The Flemish town of Nieuwport on the Belgian coast is situated directly on the estuary of the River Yser to the North Sea. The colours white and blue are typical for this coastal region. The identification and reference to the colour white is very significant on the coast. This explains why Nieuwpoort chose to have white parking ticket machines.

Rauwers benefits from a very good market share in this region, as drivers already know the Hectronic parking ticket machines from the nearby towns of Koksijde and DePanne. This deal was a great success and it opens the way to other towns and cities in Belgium.
