We are pleased to present our electrified car park in Eching! The inauguration was attended by 60 people, including Dr Potthast - Head of Department at the State Ministry for Economic Policy, Coordination and Industry.

Spedition Elflein gave an impressive presentation of how they use the charging points installed by CYT for their daily tours. They currently have a Designwerk e-truck and are planning to expand the e-trucks in the near future. This was an important milestone for us and we look forward to electrifying many more car parks!

After Eching, the next truck parking spaces in Ingolstadt and Wolfsburg are to follow. Which other locations will be equipped with fast charging stations is dependent on which Anker customers the company wins for it.

In the long term, Park Your Truck plans to equip a large part of its 300 parking spaces throughout Europe for climate-friendly heavy goods traffic. In addition to fast charging points, stations for charging overnight with lower output as well as renewable generation and local storage, petrol stations for bio-LNG, e-fuels and hydrogen are to be established if required.

About Park Your Truck

Park Your Truck GmbH (formerly known as UnserParkplatz GmbH) was founded in August 2013. Initially, it started as an online platform for sharing car parking spaces. After one year, they left this market and turned their attention to solving the truck parking problem.

Initially, they pragmatically acquired 1,000 truck parking spaces at gas stations and rest areas for reservation through our portal and simply tried to offer them to truck drivers. In 2015, with the technical implementation of the platform, they won Phase 1 of the Horizon 2020 EU competition, which had 8,400 participants from all over Europe. They utilized the EU-funded feasibility study as the largest primary market research in the field of truck parking, and the insights from it laid the foundation for their current new reservation platform, www.park-your-truck.com.
