Passport Parking App Now Available at Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges

More than 6,000 parking spaces on the Grossmont and Cuyamaca campuses are now covered by the Passport app.

Beginning today, students and visitors at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District in El Cajon, California, have a new way to pay for parking. The Passport Parking app allows users to start and pay for a parking session at more than 6,000 parking spaces on the campuses of Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges.

In addition to starting a parking session, users can:

  • Receive notifications when a parking session has ended
  • Extend their parking time remotely
  • Access parking history and receipts

We heard feedback from our students who were tired of waiting in long lines at parking meters across our campus and we searched for a solution to make the parking experience more streamlined,” said Nicole Conklin, director of public safety at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District. “With Passport Parking, students can pay for parking directly on their smartphones and save valuable time.”

Passport powers parking operations for many municipalities, universities and public agencies in California including Stanford University, LA County Metro Transit Authority, and the cities of San Luis Obispo, Inglewood and Long Beach.

We are excited to expand our footprint in California and bring Passport Parking to Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges,” said Mac Martin, sales executive at Passport. “Now the college’s 30,000 students can simplify their parking experience on campus with our app.”

The Passport Parking app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at passportparking.com.
