Portier Installs Advanced Parking Guidance System at Fleminggatan Garage in Stockholm
Portier is pleased to announce the successful deployment of its advanced Parking Guidance System in the very heart of Stockholm at Fleminggatan 3 parking facility, operated by Aimo Park. The installation features Portier’s SONIC ultrasonic parking sensors, delivering real-time occupancy detection for every parking space throughout the facility.
The new system provides drivers with accurate parking availability information, reducing search times, improving traffic flow, and enhancing the overall parking experience. By continuously monitoring occupancy at the individual space level, Portier SONIC sensors enable efficient parking management and reliable, up-to-date utilization data.
With 77 parking spaces, the Fleminggatan facility benefits from intelligent monitoring that helps maximize capacity utilization and optimize parking operations. These capabilities are particularly valuable in a centrally located urban facility, where parking demand is high and efficient use of available space is essential.
The installation represents another step in Portier’s mission to deliver smart parking solutions that improve convenience for motorists while supporting operators with actionable, real-time insights. Combined with Aimo Park’s operational expertise, the Fleminggatan project demonstrates how technology-driven parking management can create a more efficient and user-friendly parking environment in busy city centers.
