New KCM Haapaniemi in Kuopio Equipped With Advanced Portier Parking Guidance Solutions

The new KCM Haapaniemi retail centre in Kuopio will open soon and offer visitors a smarter and more seamless parking experience thanks to the installation of our Portier state-of-the-art parking guidance system.

As one of the region’s most anticipated retail developments, KCM Haapaniemi has been designed with customer convenience at its core. To support smooth traffic flow and enhance the overall visitor experience, our advanced Portier parking guidance products have been fully integrated into the facility’s parking area. Approximately 300 parking spaces are equipped with Portier Sonic parking sensors, indicating availability of spaces for drivers as well as calculating the occupancy status which is shown in the Portier parking display which is installed by the entrance. In addition to Portier Sonic ultrasonic sensors, Portier parking guidance display inside of the parking facility is directing drivers towards available parking lanes and to some special spaces such as disabled parking.

The system provides real-time space availability information, clear directional guidance, and highly visible LED indicators to help drivers quickly locate available parking spaces. By reducing unnecessary circulation within the parking area, the solution improves safety, minimizes congestion, and lowers vehicle emissions.
