Portier: New Parking Facility Konalankuja Has Been Opened in Helsinki
A new five-story parking facility at Konalankuja, operated by EuroPark, has opened, offering customers a modern and convenient parking experience powered by Portier’s advanced parking guidance technology.
The facility features short-term parking on the first floor, while the upper four levels are dedicated to contract parking for residents and businesses in the area.
Upon arrival, drivers are greeted by entry signage displaying real-time parking availability within the facility. The garage is equipped with Portier’s intelligent parking guidance solution, featuring Portier Sonic space-specific parking sensors. The system continuously monitors occupancy and guides drivers directly to available spaces, reducing search time, improving traffic flow, and enhancing the overall parking experience.

Portier Sonic sensors combine ultrasonic detection technology with integrated LED indicators that clearly display the occupancy status of each parking space. The solution maximizes parking capacity while creating a safer, more efficient, and user-friendly environment. In addition, Portier’s parking guidance platform provides EuroPark with real-time operational insights and flexible management tools to optimize day-to-day operations.
The new Konalankuja facility further strengthens EuroPark’s commitment to delivering high-quality parking services and modern infrastructure across Finland. Portier’s parking guidance solutions are already deployed in numerous parking facilities, helping operators improve efficiency, optimize space utilization, and deliver a seamless customer experience through smart parking technology.
